Job Description

We're looking for a Brand Marketing Manager to drive the execution of world-class integrated marketing plans and campaigns and deliver brand impact and growth for Curb. In this role, you will define and articulate the value proposition, and track adoption for our rider, driver, and B2B products. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization, and external communications, you help shape the representation of products and help to grow a consumer base. In this role, you'll be involved with product and brand marketing strategies from beginning to end.

You will report to the Marketing Lead and work with cross-functional partners to create the future of the brand for drivers and riders. This is a unique opportunity to join an exceptional team in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. You will help to define our messaging to the marketplace based on studying and understanding the nuances of our drivers and riders.

You must be a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and creative out-of-the-box thinker. You must be detail-oriented and organized but also excited to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty. Most importantly, you will work closely with business and product leadership to share our vision and tell our story to the industry. Responsibilities

  • As Brand Marketing Manager, you will report to the Marketing Lead, supporting and/or owning a variety of exciting projects, from concept through launch and reporting
  • You’re a problem-solver with excellent verbal and written communication skills who knows how to tailor copy and communication to different audiences
  • Conceptualize, own and implement key brand projects to create and communicate the visual brand identity and key storytelling opportunities
  • Uncover new areas of opportunity and leverage findings to scale our Communication channels and platform
  • Define the long-term vision for affiliate partnerships, measure, track, and enhance its success
  • Leverage internal and external creative and content resources to both drive results and communicate the Curb brand effectively across all platforms
  • Be responsible for creative writing and in sourcing newsworthy information for rider, driver, and b2b newsletters
  • Event support & attendance for key trade events and networking opportunities
  • Support the development of the social media strategy and associated content calendars for Curb’s channels, as well as project-specific channels
  • Manage all marketing collateral and maintain a well-labelled archive of past collateral, creative and marketing assets
  • Influence all departments and properties to ensure consistent and elevated brand presentation of Curb and its live projects
  • Support the development of email marketing strategy and EDM deployment, both to external database, and key internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional work experience in a marketing role at an agency or in-house.
  • You have a track record of delivering successful growth and engagement. You must have a success story back by numbers and relevant references.
  • Excellent project management and interpersonal skills with the ability to balance rigorous attention to detail with swift execution
  • Proactive, resourceful, intellectually curious, unflappable. We are looking for an entrepreneurial spirit with an excitement for learning, improving, and able to thrive in a cross-functional role with constant changes
  • Experience with asset creation (paid ads, email, paid social, organic social, decks, one sheets, flyers, posters)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Tools Suite, Adobe PhotoShop, Google Office Suite
  • Experience with marketing tools (Analytics Tools, Email Marketing Tools, SEO Tools, Social Listening Tools, SMS Marketing Tools, In-app Comm Tools, etc)
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment
  • Strong copywriting skills
